Our Ice Cream Parlour with a dedicated retail area is open
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9-6pm
Friday & Saturday 9-7pm
WHAT DO WE SELL?
Our cabinet is filled fresh everyday, using our own milk from our own Ayrhsire herd in Summer we have 18 flavours and winter 12. We’ve won several awards now for our flavours, and have limited seating inside and seating outside in the summer months. We have different flavours everyday, and love to experiment! We now also serve, waffles, milkshakes, proper hot chocolates, barista coffee & a selection of cakes.
In addition to all of the above we have a dedicated retail area where you can take home our award winning Raw and Pasteurised Milk, 500ml takeaway tubs of ice cream, Fresh Eggs, Potatoes and Meat.
If your local, we advocate walking to us! Theres not much better than enjoying a lovely ice cream or coffee after a brisk walk, we are dog friendly and have water available at the door.
The 559 goes up/down Manchester Road, theres a bus stop either side of the road thats really close, I’m sure if you ask the driver for the stop near a farm they could let you know where to get off. If not and you have a smartphone pop it into your maps and it should come up quite easily.
The 582 runs across our top road “Newbrook Road” If you stop near four lane ends, then head towards westoughton and you’ll find us on the left hand side 200 yards or so down.
Since we changed our farm shop, into our ice cream parlour we have become busier, and busier and its great! We can’t thank everyone enough for the support – the only problem we’ve had is neighbours raising concern that our customers are parking across driveways nearby. So all we ask is – to respect our neighbours when parking your cars, there are double yellows directly around the farm so anywhere else along Manchester Road and Newlands drive just around the corner has a little space too.
Could we also ask that under NO CIRCUMSTANCE do you park across the entrance or drive into the farm, there is only one way in/out of our farm, so when customers block it, it means we can’t get out and do any tractor work, can’t visit our other cows, collect feed during winter etc. So can be a huge inconvenience for us too, if you are less able and are carrying milk/eggs and aren’t confident in walking with your produce to the car please let us know & we will always help.
We don’t currently have enough seating to need a toilet within our ice cream parlour, however we do have an outside toilet which we will be happy for you to use, it is not however very accessible for anyone less able bodied and we can only apologise for this and its something we are hoping to change in the very near future.
If your reading this we really hope to see you soon, please bare in mind we’re a working farm so children might find it smelly, ( smells like home to me- and I love it, but totally understand if your not familiar with it, it can be a little strange) and there may be tractors and large machinery around so please approach with caution.
Lots of love,
